How we vet listings
- Established sellers — for our tracked categories we follow high-volume sellers with a real sales history, not one-off listings.
- Sold-count proof — tracked items must show completed sales, not just an asking price.
- Fat-finger filter — implausibly low bait prices are excluded automatically before they ever reach a page.
- Deduped — one entry per configuration, kept at the cheapest live listing, so you compare real options instead of 40 near-identical rows.
Where the data comes from
Prices and stock are pulled from eBay's official API on a fixed schedule (roughly every six hours) and each tracked category keeps a daily price-history snapshot — that's what powers the trend charts and 7-day change chips. More retail sources are planned; we only claim what's actually live.
Every page shows its last-updated time. Prices move between refreshes — always confirm the final price on the retailer's site before buying.
